Dear Friends and Colleagues:

        I am happy once again to share with you The University of Georgia Fact Book and the 
rich array of information that it contains.  I believe the UGA Fact Book is an extremely useful 
document which for years has chronicled the growth and outstanding achievements of the 
University.

        The University of Georgia is embarking anew with plans and programs to achieve the 
ultimate goal of placing the best students with the best faculty in the best learning environment. 
This is an exciting task, and I invite you to join us in this effort.
